Overview

To improve the quality of leads collected through the FPC (Financial Prosperity Center) channel, we designed a gamified “Spin & Win” experience. This not only helped verify mobile numbers in real-time but also boosted appointment show-ups and customer engagement at offline branches.

The Problem

The existing lead collection at petrol pumps, malls, and schools relied on physical coupons. Many mobile numbers/ leads collected were fake, invalid, or duplicated, leading to ineffective communication and missed appointments.

Goals

  • Increase the number of verified mobile leads

  • Reduce sales funnel drop-offs caused by incorrect contact info

  • Design a solution that fits seamlessly into the on-ground executive flow

My Role

  • UX Designer (Research, Strategy, UI/UX Design)

  • Collaborated with business stakeholders, on-ground teams, CRM developers

  • Owned the full design process from research to prototype delivery

My Approach

Field Research & Insights

Conducted extensive on-ground research at various locations, notably Hari Nagar, Varanasi, and Lucknow.

  • The average lead verification rate was about 46%

  • Sales executives frequently encountered incorrect contact information, wasting approximately 15-20% of their daily working hours.

Mapping the Funnel

  • Affinity mapped findings into the sales funnel

  • Identified lead verification as the top-priority bottleneck

Solution Design

Proposed a gamification-driven lead verification flow:

  • Executives collect leads via Survey Pro (within Wave CRM)

  • The customer gets a WhatsApp link to the Spin & Win page

  • Only verified numbers can claim rewards (Amazon vouchers, tax guides, etc.)

  • Winners are invited to a Financial Planning Session at their nearest FPC

Gamified Experience

  • Designed a visually engaging and responsive Spin & Win landing page

  • Created variants for mobile and desktop with an intuitive, exciting interface

Impact & Metrics

  • Verified lead rates improved significantly: 46% → 64% within four months (September 2024 to January 2025).

  • Reduced executive workflow disruptions by approximately 20%, increasing their productivity.

  • Improved lead-to-appointment conversion rates due to more accurate data.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Maintained detailed documentation in Notion and via emails

  • Regular check-ins with stakeholders ensured clarity and alignment despite their shifting priorities

  • Shared progress updates, prototypes, and metrics transparently

Refletions & Learnings

This project proved how a small gamified interaction can have a compounding effect on operational efficiency. It taught me the value of aligning offline user behavior with digital solutions, and how crucial field research is in bridging gaps between sales and design.
